WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

  • Operational safeguarding of the material supply

  • Price enquiries and orders

  • Triggering orders

  • Urgency of order confirmations, checking order confirmations and invoices

  • Tracking delivery dates and urging delayed deliveries

  • Internal communication of delays to departments involved in the procurement process

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers

  • Supplier selection and price negotiations

  • Supplier management (risk and supplier assessment) 

  • Reporting and reporting on quality, on-time delivery and cost development

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Technical training, knowledge of metal processing and the procurement of production parts

  • Several years of professional experience in purchasing

  • Open manner, proactive behaviour

  • Solution-oriented behaviour, quality awareness and an affinity for numbers

  • Structured way of working and strong communication skills

  • Confident & confident demeanour

  • Understanding of the purchasing/logistics chain
